SO-PO (Islami Banking Window In-charge) at ONE Bank Limited

Context: Work as the Bank’s Islami Banking Windows (IBWs) manager to meet business goals and conduct, supervise, and monitor IBW services.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversight of Islami Banking Windows (IBWs) General Banking, Accounts, Investment Operations, Cash Operations, Trade Services, and Other General Functions.
• Meet deposit, accounts, debit card, credit card, investment, import, export, bank guarantee, and fees & charges targets.
• Account management, dispute resolution, customer support, and legal compliance.
• Resolve IBW operating difficulties.
• Provide expert services for a comprehensive range of Islami Banking products to meet customer financial demands.
• Submit reports promptly and accurately.
• Provide a customer-focused workplace.
• Ensure daily compliance with Bank regulatory and operational rules.
• Ensure Islami Banking Windows comply with Bangladesh Bank, other Regulatory Authorities, and CHQ Shariah Rules, Guidelines, Circulars, and Instructions.
• Examine Islami Banking Windows’ daily vouchers, Books of Accounts, and security stationery.
• Regularly comply with and minimize Internal and External Authority Audit, Inspection, and Investigation Reports.
• BFIU Circulars require KYC updates.
• Lockers and local/inward remittances.
• Islami Banking, Operations, and Services training for IBW officials.
• Oversee the development of other Islami Banking Windows’ Conventional Branches, Sub-Branches, and Agent Banking Outlets.
• Any additional task assigned by Branch & Head Office Management.

Status of employment: Full-time

Workplace: Work at the office

Needed Level of Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Islamic Studies/Arabic, Business Administration/Banking and Finance/Marketing/Management/Economics/Bank Management/other subjects from a prominent UGC-approved university.

Possible Experience Needs

• Age 25 to 40 years
• Experience 4 year
• Must know Islamic Economics/Finance/Banking.
• Expertise in Islami Sariah, Asset & Liability Products, and Profit Distribution Systems in Islami Banking.
• English and Bengali fluency.
• Decision-making and problem-solving.
• Know MS Office, Excel, etc.
• Capable to work under pressure.
• Must be hard working with fervent attitude.
• Amicable personality & Positive attitude.

Work Location: Barishal, Khulna, Satkhira, Chattogram (Hathazari)

Salary: Negotiable
