Context

In 1999, Southpoint School and College (SPSC) became the first institution to implement the National Curriculum in English, making it a pioneer in the pursuit of academic success. We are searching for a Junior Teacher – English, who is familiar with the National Curriculum Syllabus (NCS), and who is capable of instructing and evaluating pupils at both the primary and secondary levels.

Your Responsibilities

• Candidates need to have a strong understanding of the subject matter they will be teaching (the National Curriculum in English) at both the primary and secondary levels.
• Develop lesson plans and lecture materials, as well as take an active role in the curriculum development process.
• Examine the written projects and tasks that the students have submitted.
• All academic tasks pertaining to the student’s exam, interacting with parents, and any other duties that are required by the role.
• Encourage the construction of student portfolios in accordance with the principles that have been agreed upon by the school.
• It is important to keep up positive, professional working connections with the Head of the institution, the administration, and your coworkers.
• Contribute to the success of the team.
• Any additional tasks that have been delegated by the relevant authorities.

Status of employment: Full-time

Workplace: Work at office

Needed Level of Education

• Masters in relevant subject from any recognized University.
• CGPA 3.00/ 2nd class

Experience Requirements

• At most 1 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Extra Needs

• Both males and females are allowed to apply.
• Excellent command over English (both in oral and written) communication.
• Candidates with teaching experience in English Medium School will be given preference.
• Experienced in dealing students issue with softness.

Salary: Tk. 12515 (Monthly)
